Subject:	REMINDER: Upcoming Faculty and Staff Forums for the NCA Accreditation: January 22 - 23, 2007

On January 15, 2007, you received a communication from Father Holtschneider regarding the North Central Association (NCA) reaccreditation visit next week. This email is to remind you of the opportunities and to encourage you to participate in this essential process via faculty and staff forums. There are separate faculty and staff forums being held on both campuses:

FACULTY FORUMS:
* Monday, January 22, 2007, 2:30 - 3:45 pm, LOOP -- DePaul Center 11th Floor, North Cafeteria
* Tuesday, January 23, 2007, 3:00 - 4:30 pm, LPC -- Student Center 314B

STAFF FORUMS:
* Monday, January 22, 2007, 4:30 - 5:45 pm, LPC -- Student Center 120A
* Tuesday, January 23, 2007, 4:15 - 5:30 pm, LOOP -- DePaul Center 11th Floor, North Cafeteria

All faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions, and to share any stories or insights that you have about DePaul.

For those of you new to accreditation, the NCA visits DePaul every 10 years to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of what we have achieved in the past decade and to identify areas for possible improvement. DePaul's self-study report may be found at http://nca.depaul.edu.

The scheduled forums above will primarily be the NCA Team visitors asking questions of the faculty and staff, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the self-study and be prepared to offer your personal insights.
